Greatest Movie Ever Made?

The voters of Total Film Magazine have voted Goodfellas the greatest movie ever made. Great movie, no doubt. But the greatest ever made? Jeez, I don't even think it's the greatest gangster flick ever made, never mind the greatest film. For my money, The Godfather is still tops as far as gangster flicks are concerned, and it is arguably the best ever made. After repeated viewings of The Godfather year in and year out, I've never detected a flaw in it. Complex, compelling, and intelligent, The Godfather is a stellar piece of filmmaking. Goodfellas? Great, but not better. I'm not even sure Goodfellas is even better than Casino.
